Pursuant to art. 13 of EU Regulation 2016/679 on the protection of personal data and the Personal Data Protection Code, Legislative Decree 196/2003, as amended by Legislative Decree 101/2018.


This document aims to clearly and comprehensively explain the methods and purposes of using your personal data in accordance with EU Regulation 2016/679 (hereinafter "GDPR"), in your capacity as a user of the website www.uboldifood.com.

(d'ora in avanti semplicemente "UBOLDI" o "Titolare"), proprietaria del sito internet www.uboldifood.com (di seguito "il sito"), destina il massimo impegno nella tutela dei dati personali dei Suoi Utenti, pur facendo utilizzo di alcuni di questi dati per le funzioni specifiche della pagina web e per i suoi interessi legittimi, come riconosciuti dal GDPR. (hereinafter simply "UBOLDI" or the "Owner"), owner of the website www.uboldifood.com (hereinafter "the Site"), is committed to protecting the personal data of its Users, even though it uses some of this data for specific functions of the website and for its legitimate interests, as recognized by the GDPR. This document covers:

  1. A GENERAL SECTION on Privacy;
  2. A section on the COOKIE POLICY.

I - Privacy Policy - General Section

1 - Data Controller

2 - Purpose of data processing

Specifically, your personal data will be processed for the following purposes:

  • a) Allow navigation on the Website;
  • b) Comply with any obligations under applicable laws, regulations, or EU legislation, or respond to requests from authorities.

The legal basis for the processing of personal data for the purposes referred to in sections a) and b) is Article 6(1)(b) of the Regulation ("[...] processing is necessary for the performance of a contract to which the data subject is party or in order to take steps at the request of the data subject prior to entering into a contract"), as the processing is necessary for the provision of the services requested from UBOLDI.

The purpose referred to in section b) constitutes a legitimate processing of personal data pursuant to Article 6(1)(c) of the Regulation ("[...] processing is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation to which the controller is subject"). Once personal data has been provided, processing is necessary to fulfill legal obligations to which UBOLDI is subject.

3 - Processing Methods - Storage

UBOLDI informs you that the computer systems and software procedures used to operate this website acquire, during their normal operation, some personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols.

This category of data includes the IP addresses or domain names of the computers and terminals used by users, the URI/URL (Uniform Resource Identifier/Locator) addresses of the requested resources, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numerical code indicating the status of the server response (successful, error, etc.), and other parameters relating to the user's operating system and IT environment.

This data, necessary for the use of web services, is also processed for the following purposes: obtaining statistical information on the use of services (most visited pages, number of visitors per time slot or day, geographical areas of origin, etc.); and monitoring the proper functioning of the services offered.

Your personal data will be processed both automatically and manually and, in accordance with Article 5 of the GDPR, will be processed lawfully, fairly, and transparently by specifically appointed persons, for the time strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which they were collected.

Specific security measures will be implemented to prevent data loss, unlawful or improper use, and unauthorized access. Your data will not be used for market research.

In accordance with Article 4 of the GDPR, the processing of data carried out by UBOLDI consists of any operation or set of operations performed on personal data or on sets of personal data, whether or not by automated means, such as collection, recording, organization, structuring, storage, adaptation or alteration, retrieval, consultation, use, disclosure by transmission, alignment or combination, restriction, erasure, or destruction. In the event that a User or interested party forwards to UBOLDI personal data:

  • that is not necessary for the performance of the requested service or for the provision of a service strictly related to it;
  • that is not consistent with the requested service;

UBOLDI cannot be considered the Data Controller of this data and will delete it as soon as possible, notifying the interested party accordingly.

4 - Scope of communication and dissemination

Your personal data will not be disclosed but may be disclosed, where necessary for service provision, to third parties (such as third-party technical service providers, postal couriers, hosting providers, IT companies) appointed by UBOLDI as external data processors for technical or organizational tasks essential to the provision of services. Access to the data is also permitted to UBOLDI's data processors involved in data processing (administrative staff, collaborators, system administrators).

An updated list of data processors may be requested from the Data Controller at any time by emailing info@uboldisrl.com. The list and the processing methods used by external data processors on behalf of the Controller are constantly updated and available at the Controller's headquarters. Any further communication will only take place with your explicit consent.

5 - Place of data processing

The data is stored (including in backup) on paper, computer and electronic media located at the Data Controller's headquarters.

6 - Data retention period for the interested party

Unless the Data Subject explicitly requests deletion, personal data will be retained for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected:

  • a) to allow navigation on the Site
  • b) to fulfill any obligations under applicable laws, regulations, or EU legislation, or to respond to requests from authorities (until the statute of limitations).

In cases of necessary or potential protection of the Data Controller's rights (including for the purposes of demonstrating compliance with the contract or requested services), the Data Subject's personal data, which is strictly necessary, will be retained for the time necessary to protect the right and processed for the aforementioned purpose, unless the Data Subject or any third parties with a claim or objection object to the processing. Personal data not necessary for the performance of the requested service or for the provision of a service strictly related to it will be deleted as quickly as possible.

7 - Rights of the interested party

UBOLDI guarantees that you can exercise the rights provided for by the GDPR at any time. Specifically, the following rights are guaranteed:

  • To know whether the Data Controller holds and/or processes personal data relating to you and to access it in full, including by obtaining a copy (Art. 15 GDPR);
  • To rectify inaccurate personal data or to complete incomplete personal data (Art. 16 GDPR);
  • To erase personal data held by the Data Controller if one of the grounds set forth in the GDPR applies (Art. 17 GDPR). Users of the Site, including unregistered users, may object to processing at any time by requesting UBOLDI to delete the data collected and potentially traceable to their IP address, demonstrating that they are the data controller or controller;
  • To request the Data Controller to limit processing to only certain personal data, if one of the grounds set forth in the Regulation applies (Art. 18 GDPR);
  • To request and receive all your personal data processed by the data controller, in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format, or to request its transmission to another data controller without hindrance (Article 20 of the GDPR);
  • To object, in whole or in part, to the processing of data for the purposes of sending advertising materials and market research (Article 21 of the GDPR);
  • To object, in whole or in part, to the processing of data in automatic or semi-automatic mode, including for profiling purposes (Article 22 of the GDPR).

8 - Revocation of consent

You may withdraw your consent at any time, without prejudice to the processing carried out prior to your withdrawal. Revocation will necessarily result in the cancellation of your subscription to UBOLDI's customer information services. II - Cookie policy

Cookies are data sent from the website and stored by the Internet browser on the user's computer or other device (e.g., tablet or mobile phone). Technical and third-party cookies may be installed by our website or its subdomains.

In any case, the user can manage, or request the general deactivation or deletion of cookies, by changing their Internet browser settings. However, deactivating cookies may slow down or prevent access to some parts of the site.

1 - Browsing data

While browsing the Site, the IT systems and applications used to operate the Site may, during their normal operation, collect some Personal Data, implicitly transmitted through the use of internet communication protocols. This data cannot be immediately associated with identified users, but through processing or association with public data or data held by third parties authorized to transfer it, it may allow the identification of Site visitors (e.g., the IP address of the system used for connection).

This identification is not performed by UBOLDI, as the aforementioned Data is processed for simple browsing, for the time strictly necessary for the sole purpose of receiving information relating to internet traffic and the type of user, and is used to monitor the proper functioning of the Site. The Data is removed from the system and stored offline for the sole purpose of consultation upon request of judicial authorities.

2 - Cookies used by this site (Technical cookies that do not require consent for installation)

This site uses only technical cookies, specifically:

  • Cookies related to activities strictly necessary for the site's operation and service provision;
  • Third-party statistics cookies (Facebook, Twitter, Google+, and LinkedIn), and access statistics services (anonymous, such as Shynistat and Google Analytics) are used directly by the website operator to collect aggregate information for anonymous statistics management, without tracking user IP addresses (non-IP-profiled data) and without sharing data with third parties.

All technical cookies do not require consent and are therefore installed automatically upon accessing the website. Tracking and/or profiling cookies, whose installation requires the user's prior consent, are not used.

3 - How to manage cookies on your PC

By accessing the website and accepting the initial banner containing the brief information, the user has given their express consent to the use of the cookies listed above.
